Our performance for group stage (Piala Suzuki AFF 2010)

                                  We had done it..!!!


Congratulation to our national squad lead by K.Rajagopal on their advanced to semifinal stage. The 1st leg will be held at Bukit Jalil Stadium on 15 December 2010 and the 2nd leg will be schedule on 18th December 2010.An opponent will be Champion of Group B, Vietnam..bring it on!!!

Honestly, Indonesia deserved to be top of Group A and others opponent includes Malaysia is in the same level for these tournament. Even Malaysia got a big win against LAOS in final game on group stage, its showed that LAOS who were well controlled the games but lacking only for final touch to get a goal. Malaysia on others side was lucky to get three goal cause by awful defending works by LAOS defender especially their captain Kitsada. The others two goal is on well taken chance from a counter attacks.

Whoever country on the sheet today, Malaysia really need to work hard on especially on their  passing.As we know that K.Rajagopal molded on simple play and simple pass but so far  that not well worked as per expected.

Here was my opinion on Malaysia's performance on previous three games against Indonesia, Thailand and LAOS: 

On losses 1-5 to Indonesia: Totally outclassed and outscored.Even Indonesia got at least 4 goal from poor defending works by our defender but full credit to them for well taken chances that their had on that game.'Import' player is second issued to me.Whoever player played in these tournament were legal and allowed by FIFA. That the important thing. We cant do anything about that.

On draw 0-0 with Thailand: Again, our passing were to bad all around the pitch but with Thailand preferred on long shot we close to come as a winner if Amri, Khyrill and Kunanlan take their chance.We defend quite well with no mistake as per 1st game against Indonesia.

On win 5-1 against LAOS: Pressure on, but K.Rajagopal and Co reacted quite well.That showed we had strong character even most of players is still under 25 years old. Not the best performance but enough to get full 3 points. Amri might have the best game for himself so far but its Idlan who worked behind the scene for at least three goal.

Tengku's rates :

1. Khairul Fahmy(7/10)- One of my favorite player.Calm and confident.Play really well and he deserved to got Best Goalkeeper award last month.Should keep his place for semifinals.

2. Asraruddin Putra(5/10) - I'm not fan of him.Got pace but lacking on awareness of the game and opponent. His positioning so poor.Expected to be replace by Sabree Abu for semis.

3. Razman Roslan:(4/10) - Got started for 1st game but to be one of four defender to allow Indonesia got 5 goal not help him at all. Mahalli to replace him.

4. Muslim Ahmad: (6/10)-Made amend against Thailand and LAOS game for his poor performance on first game.Surely missing his partner, Aidil Zakuan.We also....Keep him!!

5. Fadhli Shas(5/10) - Unfortunate for him to get fever for last game against LAOS.Do quite well on Thailand match but poor on 1st game losses to host.More aggressive 

please!!!!

6. Faizal Mohamad(5/10) - Hard to rate him because he only started for one games.Its on 5-1 win to LAOS.On the bench for semifinal.

7.Sabree Abu (6/10)-start form the bench on early two games but got nod for last game.Do really well on attacking and defending works.Should keep his name on K.Rajagopal sheet.

8.Amirulhadi Zainal(6/10)- Did really well on last game vs LAOS.His ability to score from center and his pace was a big asset for Rajagopal but sometimes lacked on defending works..Should start for semifinal.


9.Safiq Rahim (6/10) - Carried a big weight on his shoulder as a captain for national squad.Still on learning process. His energy is a asset but need to work hard on his passing..Should keep that armband until Aidil make a come back from injury hell.


10.Amar Rohidan (5/10) - natural defensive midfielder but prefer Guru on that position because lacked of idea and pace.His long range passing also poor but good in positioning. Expected to be on the bench if Guru back to 100% fit.


11.S.Kunanlan (6/10) - Started for all three match.Good in tracked back and full of stamina.Lacked on 1 by 1 situation.Cause of limited choice, he should start for first leg semifinal.


12. Idlan Talaha (7.5/10) - Best player for group stage.His ability to beat defender and his pace cause menace in front of opponent goal.Got two goal  and 1 assist on the process.First name on Rajagopal sheet.


13.Safee salee (6/10) - His physical strength is a asset to the team. Can play as lone striker if Raja decide to move Idlan behind him.Should start alongside Idlan for semis.


14.Khyrill Muhaimeen (5/10) - Just back from serious injury (ACL - anterior cruciate ligament) is not easy at all. Need time because he had good pace and skills.On the bench.


15. Izzaq (4/10)- Only 10 minutes on the field but his height and physical strength is looking good. Backup for Safee and Idlan.On the bench. 


16.Mahali Jasuli (5/10) - Fine fullback.His positioning was good and also his stamina.Go for  next games.


Malaysia need to get strong result on first leg for sure..

Liverpool vs Aston Villa (Match Day 16 - Anfield)

Up to 26 minutes, Liverpool have double their lead 2-0 through David Ngog and Ryan Babel.Without Gerrard, Carragher who were injured and Torres as his wife has gone to into labor room, Liverpool looked sharp especially Ngog and Babel who partner upfront.Lucas and Meireless dominated midfield area and giving Ireland and Clark tough time so far.After end of the first half..LIVERPOOL 2 - 0 ASTON VILLA.

Preview Malaysia vs Laos (Piala Suzuki AFF 2010)

Don't worry to much K.Rajagopal and Co..Go and get a win against LAOS and we will proud of you even we failed to qualify for semifinal.Its out of our hand. Nothing we can do if INA loss to Thailand on final game tomorrow. I really believe that game between INA and Thailand will be play in 'professional  environment'. If we at INA position right now, they will say the same as us.Lets play a good game and show we still have a best squad despite injury to our main player. An injury case before tournament is normal and you cant do anything about that.We still believe that we can qualify to semifinal..AYUH MALAYSIA..kita boleh!!! Biar kita tersingkir dengan berMARUAH .It hurt to see our national team crushed to INA 1-5 in the first match but INA deserved that win. In football, when you score a goal more than your opponent that called a WIN.How you achieved it,that a number two.This is what we called Football.

Barisan Kemungkinan Kesebelasan Utama Skuad Negara menentang LAOS:

Corak permainan yang mungkin diguna pakai Raja adalah Safee akan bertindak sebagai penyerang tengah@ target man dengan Idlan akan bermain sebagai support striker and move forward from left, right and middle channel. Dengan Guru yang masih belum fit sepenuhnya, Amar Rohidan akan mengekalkan tempatnya selaku tengah bertahan sambil Safiq akan menjana bahagian tengah.Kunanlan dan Amirul dijangka menjadi pilihan untuk bahagian tepi walaupun mempamer persembahan kurang baik semasa menentang Thailand. Kyrill Muhaimeen dan Amri ataupun Ashaari Shamsuddin akan masuk sebagai pemain gantian jika strategi Raja tidak menjadi. Pertahanan akan terus dikemudi Muslim Ahmad, Fadhli Shas, Asra dan Mahali.

Malaysia(0) vs Thailand (0) - Match Day 2 Suzuki AFF 2010

Kejayaan anak didik Rajagopal mengikat juara bertahan Thailand 0-0 pada perlawanan kedua Kumpulan A Piala Suzuki AFF 2010 serta kemenangan besar Indonesia 6-0 ke atas Laos kembali memberi ruang untuk pasukan Malaysia untuk layak ke pusingan separuh akhir setelah agak kelam selepas perlawanan pertama.Nyata keputusan Rajagopal meletakkan Khairul Fahmy Che Mat di posisi penjaga gol dan Amar Rohidan untuk bahagian tengah bertahan nyata membuahkan hasil.Walaupun separuh masa pertama pemain negara banyak mengejar bola namun peningkatan permainan pada separuh masa kedua hampir-hampir saja kita dapat mengutip 3 mata penuh jika penyudah Kunalan, Amri dan Khyrill Muhymeen lebih tajam..Berikut adalah Tengku's Rates untuk game ini.

Khairul Fahmy (6/10): Keputusan tepat Rajagopal menurunkannya. Very calm and comfortable even in poor pitch condition. Go for next game.

Muslim Ahmad (6/10): Berjaya mengemudi  bahagian pertahanan dengan baik.Good in the air..Go for next game

Fadhli Shas (6/10): Made amend for his awful performance on 1st game.Go for next game

Asraruddin (5/10): He has a pace but his positioning so poor. Doubt for next game. Sabree Abu can fill his boot.

Mahalli Jasuli (6/10)-Decent game.Make no mistake and go for next game

Amar Rohidan (5/10)-He help a lot on defending work but lack of idea when we go on attacks.Prefer Gurusamy to play (if he well fit)

Safiq Rahim (6/10)-Our captain.Run all over the pitch.Our Mr Duracell.Need some help from his partner (amar) to make a through.Go for next game

Amirulhadi (4/10)-Unfortunate not to finish the game even for the 1st half..So poor today compared to his first game. Khyrill can expect some good news for next game.

S.Kunalan(6/10): As usual this guy will run up and down to get the ball and to move the ball forward.Unlucky not to score a goal in clear chance.Go for next game

Idlan Talaha: (7/10): Again!!! he is our MOTM..His dribbling skills and pace can do a damage for opponent teams.Shame for S.Kunalan, Amri and Khyrill for not taking their chance provided by this man.. Compulsory for next game.

Safee Salee(5/10): not had a good game but Rajagopal need him to pair with Idlan Talaha.His physical strength is a asset. Go for next game

K.Rajagopal (7/10): Make a right choice to sub Amirul who was not effective for 40 minutes of game plus his plan to field Khairul Fahmy is absolutely RIGHT!!!

We need a win for sure and hope Thailand lose on other sides..Then we will qualify for semifinal..All three team (MAS, LAOS and Thailand) still can qualify!!!

Tajuk macam gempak..ingatkan Totti ker, Buffon ker, Del Piero ke, Inzaghi ke yang datang KLCC..lorr..Rupanya rakyat Malaysia yang pakai baju Italy jalan-jalan kat KLCC..hahaha..Kalau puteri2 kesayangan aku ni pakai baju berunsurkan bola, sapa lagi kalau bukan bapaknya yang belikan..huhu..minta maap maknya..tu jer la baju yang abang tahu nak beli kalau maknya tak da sekali..huhu..Hujung miggu dah tak da pape nak buat..So, misi menghabiskan duit dalam ATM pun bermula..yezza!!

Headline yang tak ingin kita baca bila beli surat khabar hari ni..

Sedih, kecewa, marah, terkilan ..semuanya ada!! Bermula dengan garang apabila Idlan Talaha menukar gegak gempita Bung Karno kepada sunyi sepi apabila merembat masuk hasil gerakan menarik Safee disebelah kiri.Namun 70 minit selepas itu menjadi milik Indonesia dengan 5 gol dijaringkan dalam tempoh berikut. Indonesia layak untuk menang tetapi Malaysia juga tidak layak untuk tewas besar seperti itu kerana kelima-lima gol yang dijaringkan sebenarnya adalah kesilapan individu pemain-pemain Malaysia sendiri. Dan perlawanan seterusnya menentang Thailand adalah ibarat hidup dan mati kerana menang adalah dicari.Tewas atau seri, skuad K.Rajagopal boleh mengucapkan selamat tinggal kepada kejohanan kali ini walaupun secara matematik kita masih boleh layak.Rating untuk pemain Malaysia melalui pendapat aku (atau dikenali dengan nama Tengku's Rates seperti berikut;

Sharbinee Allawee(5/10): 5 Gol yang dilepaskan mungkin boleh dikurangkan jika tindakan refleks dia lebih pantas dan dilihat kurang berkomunikasi dengan pemain pertahanan(bising la sikit).Khairul Fahmy patut diberi ruang untuk next game

Razman Roslan(4/10): Diberi malam yang sukar oleh pemain yang ala2 'toyol', OKTO berjersey No.10. Bertanggung jawab untuk gol pertama yang dijaringkan Asraruddin.

Asraruddin Putra(3/10): Satu untuk gol sendiri dan kesilapan menahan bola untuk gol ke-4 Indonesia menjadikan dia antara punca Malaysia kalah teruk.Tidah nampak sebagai pemain yang pernah menjalani latihan dengan skuad remaja PSV Eindhoven.Sabree Abu patut mengambil alih tempatnya.

Muslim Ahmad:(5/10): Persembahan yang biasa dan nyata gagal dalam membentuk pertahanan yang mantap kerana dia adalah antara pemain paling 'senior' dalam skuad kebangsaan  untuk bahagian pertahanan.Kurang aggresive.

Fadhli Shas(4/10): Punca gol ketiga Indonesia apabila gagal menghalang bola dengan baik menyumbnag kepada gol ketiga tuan rumah.Juga gagal dalam menghalang gol pertama apabila timing tackle nya terhadap OKTO tidak tepat.

Amri Yahyah(5/10): Baik ketika menyerang, tetapi agak lambat turun menbantu bahagian pertahanan apabila diserang.Nampak kurang cergas.Gurusamy atau Amar patut berada dalam kesebelasan kerana Malaysia agak kucar kacir ketika bertahan kerana tiada pemain yang natural untuk posisi tengah bertahan malam tadi

Safiq Rahim(6/10): Bertungkus lumus menggerakkan bahagian tengah dan meletakkanya diposisi tengah bertahan adalah satu percaturan silap.Perlu dikekalkan untuk next game

Amirulhadi Zainal(5/10): Decent game,controlling and his positioning is GOOD tapi gagal melakukan backtracks dalam banyak situasi.Crossing juga lemah dan tidak tepat.Perlu dikekalkan untuk next game

S.Kunanlan(6/10): Rajin ketika menyerang dan bertahan.Perlu dikekalkan dalam kesebelasan utama untuk perlawanan berikutnya.

Safee Salee(6/10): Kredit diberikan untuknya bagi gol pertama,kadangkala agak lambat naik ke atas ketika menyerang.Perlu dikekalkan untuk next game

Idlan Talaha(7/10): Permain terbaik Malaysia malam tadi.Menjaringkan gol pendahuluan minit ke-18.Kawalan bola agak baik dan juga melakukan beberapa percubaan merbahaya.Pantas dalam melakukan driblle terhadap pihak lawan. Perlu dikekalkan.

Kita mungkin mudah untuk menyalahkan k.Rajagopal dalam formasi dan pemain yang dipilihnya tapi beliau involved in day to day training, so he is well known about his tactics and player which suitable tapi meletakkan dua pemain tengah menyerang menggunakan formasi 4-4-2 mungkin boleh dipertikaikan. Seperti meletakkan Kaka dan Robinho dibahagian midfield tengah..Namun Malaysia masih mempunyai 2 perlawanan untuk menebus aib!! Ayuh Malaysia!!! buktikan kita boleh...
